Golfing Prix de la Luz

Costa de la Luz in the south west of Spain has just played host to the first Chartiz Properties Golf Challenge 2008.

Sixteen players, both men and ladies pairs teed off at the world class Costa Esuri Championship Course in Ayamonte, to compete in the four day event. Further action was also seen in the following days at two other courses in El Rompido and Nuevo Portil.

Charles Short, Managing Director of the London and Spanish based property company said. “The standard of play was extremely high and there was very strong, but friendly rivalry between the players.” Presenting prizes to the various runners-up he said “he had great pleasure in declaring Mrs Bumble Warren overall winner, having beaten off very strong competition” and awarding her the first Chartiz Golf Challenge trophy. Afterwards relaxing with the competitors at the 4 star AC Hotel, Short added “the competition had been a great way for potential investors to discover the great golfing facilities, some of the exciting property developments and the beauty and charm of this unspoilt coastline”.
